About Me
I believe in the power of a good sentence—whether it is in a novel, a social media campaign, or a textbook. Words have always been my way of making sense of the world, and I have followed them into various creative spaces. While studying for my Bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish at the University of Georgia, I explored the many ways language can connect people. I interned with a literary magazine, served as Editor-in-Chief of a campus press publication, and studied abroad in Seville, Spain. After graduating in May of 2024, I wrote K-12 textbooks for an educational publisher, gaining hands-on experience in translating complex standards into engaging lessons for students and teachers.
Across these experiences, I have found myself well-versed in different kinds—from the formal language of academics to the formation of clear, accessible copy for wider audiences. My approach is rooted in curiosity, clarity, and connection: I love finding the precise words that bring ideas to life and spark something in others.
Outside of work, you can find me with a book in hand, going to the gym, or chasing inspiration in the small details that make a story worth telling. Whether it is a conversation overhead, a slogan on the door of a coffee shop, or a piece of punctuation often left out. The smallest marks, words, or symbols can carry meaning.
